If yall don't mind the resurrection of a dead thread…

BAA operates the Indianapolis Airport, the shopping mall at PIT… and others. They don't own 'em.

In New York, Mayor Rudy has made some recent statements about his desire to find a new company to operate both LGA and JFK earlier than 2015 when the current Port Authority contract runs out. Actually there were more than statements… BAA beat out other European companies (such as Schiphol which operates Terminal 4 at JFK) in a formal process of picking a bidder… to pick a bidder. A some-what confusing, New York-way of doing things.

We'll see what happens… this could just be a threat to the Port Authority, but who knows…
