It was a bad month Roger. Tim was a friend: Aged 68. A Viet Nam vet. Warrant Officer Pilot: former OZA/TWA/AA captain and fellow MENSAN. Also lost OZA CA Lou Ameel aged 95. Lou flew P-51s in WW-2 an OZA captain/Chief pilot. Also my dear friend Chubb Wheeler. Chubb was 14 days short of his 104th birthday. A pioneer pilot, WW-2 instructor pilot and corporate pilot who had been retired 49 years! Chubb was active until his death and spent a day at the Washington Mo. airport among friends 5 days before he passed. He had been a pilot for over 80 years. I was hiking in the Rockies and canyons of Utah....thus sadly missing all their celebrations of life.
