Both pictures were taken while reading the Robert Serling book from 1969, Loud and Clear: Is it Safe to Fly in the Jet Age.....or something like that.

This MSG is issued due to 2 707's surviving crashes with a partial wing removed.

This picture is a statement from the chief Flight Attendant, Miss Henderson, for AA way back when. Still applies today. Probably more so than ever.

I was only 7 years old.......you guys were in your prime. Wish I was there.
