Is there anyone out there who can provide me with a vector to the 2003 BENEFIT changes? The 2003 guide we received reads in part:
".....As we continue to weather the current financial crisis and manage double-digit health care cost increases, we were forced to make some dramatic changes to the health care plans we offer."
"For a complete list of changes to the TWA Retiree Medical Plan visit the Benefits and Pay page on http://jetnet.aa.com."
In an attempt to discover what these "dramatic changes to the health care plans" are, I first sought the "Benefits and Pay" page on the Jetnet site for the "complete list of changes". No luck. I was unable to locate that page. I then spoke with a nice young lady at CompLink, as instructed in the enrollment guide cover letter. No luck again. She had no clue as to benefit changes, such as co-payments, coverage limits, etc. She put me on hold while she researched the issue. When she finally returned she said that no one seemed to know, but the consensus opinion was that the only changes were in the monthly charges for the plans (i.e., no changes in benefits). She suggested that I call PeopleLink, as CompLink only managed the plan and really had no information on benefits. I called PeopleLink. I enjoyed the same result there. They referred me to Jetnet.
Does anyone know what changes, if any, have been made to the plans other than monthly charges?
Thanks,
Charlie Jennings
P.S. As a footnote, my wife is a retired TWA Flight Attendant. Her form requires return by 27 December, while mine requires return by 31 December. Go figure!
