I never knew that USAirways was getting a new paint job. The other day when I walked outside to get to NWA's gate I looked up and said, "Who's that?!". A few moments I realized that it was USAir. It's very sharp. The picture doesn't do it justice. It looks even better in person. So pay attention.

In my opinion, for all current and existing colors USAir takes first place. On the other hand, for any carrier current or historical it is still number 2 behind TWA. But they're close.

Hi!

Along with the new paint scheme, there's supposed to be a picture painted near the nose, which includes the logos of the four major airlines that made up USAir. I saw a picture of it but haven't seen it in person. Supposedly it's the logos of Allegheny, Piedmont, PSA and America West in a circle, with the USAir flag in the center. They're also doing a promo about the merger, on-board (following the safety announcement) - the promo includes in-flight pics of liveries from all four.
