 James Edward Bowman, formerly of Rancho Palos Verdes, passed away at his home in Paradise on January 18, 2011. Jim was born in Georgia in 1928 to Erle and Margaret Bowman.
Jim was a veteran of the Army Air Corps Cadet program, and was a decorated F-84 fighter pilot in the Korean War. After leaving the service, he enjoyed a 34 year career as a pilot for TWA, retiring in 1988.
