I am traveling through JFK next week via DL. I'll have a nearly 4 hour layover. I did that on purpose to counter any delays or simply to explore. I also picked JFK because my conx is a B-717. Its a gamble but hopefully a TWA a/c.

I did a little research but couldn't find any thing up to date in regards to the flight center. Is it open? Closed? Peak in the window?

Headed for warmer temps in RSW. Then a hop to MIA with a stop at a NIKE Base in between.

My trip through JFK went smoothly. But boy was it COLD! I didn't even bother leaving the DL terminal. But I walked to the very end of it [T4] and got a view. It has been over 20 years since I've been down there. Lots of changes. The terminal is surrounded by steel, concrete and glass. Terminals, parking garages along with bridges. Crazy!

DL is using a lot of TW a/c through JFK. My flight to RSW was a B717 [N408TW]. At the gate next to me was the B757 [N703TW].

Here are a couple of pictures while passing through JFK.

This picture is T5 in the background. As you can see, it is really surrounded. Glad I got to work there, even if it was brief.

This picture was taken from T2, the ex-Pan Am Express building. DL did a nice job of updating it. This B717 is N408TW.

And parked next to me, was this B757, N703TW. Been trying to get a good photo of this plane for a long time.
