In my opinion, that is. Others may differ, but this 13-part program covers the subject more thoroughly than anything I have yet seen. It was broadcast on the Discovery Channel in 1998 and apparently is still shown from time to time on The Military Channel, which I don't get. I just happened to come across it on YouTube a while back, and although I have communicated from time to time with Col. Walter Boyne, the co-producer and presenter, I was not aware of it until now. Unfortunately it is formatted at just 360p, but the picture is still fairly good when I view it on my TV screen hooked up to my computer with an HDMI cable, which is how I recommend watching it if possible. If you enjoy aviation history take a look at CLASH OF WINGS.
